Gornje Brezovo is a settlement in the Sevnica municipality in central Slovenia. It lies on the left bank of the river Sava to the east of Sevnica. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Styria. The municipality is now included in the Lower Sava statistical region.[2]

The local church is dedicated to Saint Ulrich and belongs to the Sevnica parish. It was built in 1643.[3]
